Oh how I love fall in Central Alberta, even though it may only last two weeks. This was the perfect fall day for the most perfect wedding. Jacki and Matt had an intimate backyard acreage ceremony with all of their friends and family. They also had Chedda’ Heads stop by for a midnight snack for their guests. Everything from the stage to the dance floor was handmade. I just love intimate weddings! From the moment you arrived, you could feel the love pouring out of every corner.

When I met Jacki and Matt for their wedding consult, I could feel how sweet, genuine and in love they truly are. I feel so blessed to have met them, and honoured to have captured their big day. Here is a small peek into their gorgeous wedding.

Meet the Boyko family. Some of the kindest, most wonderful people you will ever meet. Madelyn is just the most adorable and helpful big sister, and Preston is a strong willed handsome little brother. Preston is a fighter, you can follow their Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) journey through Facebook. Also Madelyn makes bath bombs that she sells to donate money to CdLs foundations in her brother’s honour. Mike is an electrician who works hard to support his family. Jessica is the most supermom of all of the supermoms, seriously this woman is incredible. She advocates for her son, she helps Madelyn with her bath bomb business, and she is a kind and caring friend. I don’t quite know how she does it with such grace, but she does!

Nicole and Jaden came to me for a sweet little family session down at McKenzie Trails (I told you this was a very popular choice this year).
